Guggle has been released!
Hey everyone! Today a game that I made the title song for was released!
It is named Guggle (you can buy it here), was developed by the very talented people at Faraway Frontiers and is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Here are some facts about the game:
Step into a forgotten magical kingdom and guide Bubble through 36 cursed levels where danger lurks at every corner of this puzzle arcade-adventure game.
The easy to learn, but tricky to master controls make Guggle a blast to play for all ages as they test their eye-hand coordination and dexterity. Plus with the included level editor, an infinite number of levels beckons at players’ imaginations!
Are you up to the challenge?
FEATURES
- Simple, intuitive controls: Tilt and/or turn your mobile device to guide Bubble along.
- Top Ten Scores per level. (That’s right, it has a top ten for each level!)
- Full level editor included. Create your own death-defying levels and challenges. You are only limited by your imagination! (This is the editor we used to build all the levels in the game.)
And here is the song I made!
Working on some demos
Lately I have been working on some demos for my site. The ones that are on my music page at the moment are getting a bit old. So expect some new material in the coming weeks!
Joystick 3.0
Today I attended the Joystick 3.0 video game concert in Malmö, Sweden. The Malmö Symphony Orchestra performed tons of music from games like Bioshock 2, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, Dragon Age and Super Mario Galaxy. It truly was wonderful hearing all this fantastic music being performed live. Two composers were even there! Joris de Man (Killzone 2) and Garry Schyman (Bioshock, Dante’s Inferno).
It’s great to see that game music gradually is being accepted as culture these days. I hope to see more game concerts make their way to Scandinavia soon! Above is a picture from the concert

Preview of Steam Pirates
The wonderful game blog Touch Arcade, that specializes in iPhone games, today published a preview of a game I co-composed. The Game is called Steam Pirates and is one of few big RPG-games on the platform.
The story follows Kat, a human who was raised by the Cat Empire. After she found out that she wasn’t a cat (she just thought that she didn’t have any fur or a tail), she went out to the seas to find herself (it left her deeply traumatised). A few years later once she comes back, the Cat Empire is now ruled by Captain Purrrrrrrkos who is trying to take over the oceans.
Kat must then decide to either stay loyal to the ones that raised her, or join Ze Pug Rebellion.
Touch Arcade had good things to say about the game:
“It’s no wonder that his upcoming title, SteamPirates has received so much attention from our forum readers, as screenshots released to date have hinted at a gorgeous steam-punk based RPG with a certain feline influence.”

Here are a few screenshots from the game:

The new site has been launched!
Hey everyone! I have once again revamped my site. I decided that the previous one felt a bit too sterile and not personal enough. This time around it is more colorful and includes some wonderful built-in typography. I hope you like it!
I have still some things to finish up, and content to add – so it might look a bit empty here and there! Please excuse the mess.

Competition entry

Hey everyone! I just thought I’d share this video that my brother made for a contest held by the car manufacturer Renault. It’s supposed to be an ad for the cars of the future! I composed the music for it!

Egg Racer is out!
The Australian supermarket “Coles” released their promotional iPhone game Egg Racer earlier this week. I acted as co-composer for the game and got to work with composer Aidin Ashoori who was the lead composer. Egg Racer is a fun Easter game with a simple objective, keep your egg on the spoon while running as far as you can! For more information about the game, check out the official website!
Below you can listen to the two pieces I made for the game!
At the GDC!
I am currently at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, mail me if you want to meet up!

Mecho Wars nominated for Award!

Yay! Oyaji Games’ Mecho Wars, a strategy game for the iPhone, was recently nominated for a G.A.N.G (Game Audio Network Guild) Award in the category “Best Handheld Audio”. I provided additional music for the game and had the distinct pleasure of working with the lead composer Sean Beeson and the sound designer and remixer Justin Wasack.
Others who worked on the game are: Amahl Abdul-Khaliq (remixer), Genna Bain (vocalist) and Aidin Ashoori (additional music.
Mecho Wars is in good company in the category. Other games that have been nominated are: Jack & Daxter: The Lost Frontier, The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, Gran Turismo PSP and Resistance: Retribution.
The iPhone RPG Steam Pirates is another game that we in the mecho wars audio team have worked on and will be released soon. You can check out my music for it on my music page!
