Today I attended the Joystick 3.0 video game concert in Malmö, Sweden. The Malmö Symphony Orchestra performed tons of music from games like Bioshock 2, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, Dragon Age and Super Mario Galaxy. It truly was wonderful hearing all this fantastic music being performed live. Two composers were even there! Joris de Man (Killzone 2) and Garry Schyman (Bioshock, Dante’s Inferno).

It’s great to see that game music gradually is being accepted as culture these days. I hope to see more game concerts make their way to Scandinavia soon! Above is a picture from the concert :)
